It's not as dramatic of a difference as it is in your case. Just...well. There is one country in my world that holds a good portion of the world power, and they don't take too kindly to outsiders. Living in that country can be difficult, especially when they can tell I'm a foreigner any time I open my mouth.

It's the only country that has universities teaching the branch of science I want to study.

Not that they would let me in as a student anyway. But just being around it and absorbing some of the information while I clean labs is the best I can hope for.
