The power was called Deja Vu—something about how I'd dream of multiple places, and picking the right one would give me a clue about what happened there.

Not sure what counted as "right", but anyway, my picks were the house, the city, and the laundry room. I picked the house.

[his hand goes up to his throat.]

I... had trouble breathing? Like, my throat was tight and my eyes were watering. The house was on fire when I ran into it while coughing, and I remember feeling desperate or something. Ran into the dining room, where I tripped over the table.

And then I woke up.

[ . . . well. mineo's brow automatically furrows at that and he'll also reach out to touch white's throat as if to check that he's okay - though it's a brief touch and he'll pull back quick enough]

[there's a pause where you can tell white was trying to say something rude, maybe about mineo's drink choices, before he sighs.]

Sure. I'm fine, though. Waking up was just kind of unpleasant.

Same thing, not that we really expected it to work twice. But that's why I had to go to the Medbay at all. Everyone tagging along was just a surprise. But if it puts someone off of using the pods that's good enough for me.

[mineo's just gonna look over his hands then! he will also try to look at white's gloves to be thorough]

.... I think she was pretty resourceful... and ready to make tough decisions even if she didn't want to. We got along, and... I'm mad whenever anyone's gone. But this one still feels cruel.

Mm. Can't think of any reason why someone would want her dead in particular—but that's also life for you.

There's a lot of aiming for civilians. It pisses me off. Between Luca-san and Omi-san and now Eleanor-san.... Like - what the hell? What have they ever done to hurt somebody, huh?

Well, we had our theories for Omi, at least...

But we'll see, if we manage to catch Eleanor's killer. I'm almost surprised someone did it when we're all forced to be nice to each other.

... I don't know. There's a new theory that there's a reason why people are killing - I don't really know the details about it but...

Maybe if there's something besides personal interest involved then they just - had to?
