...what's with it, I suppose? You don't normally see humans with a horn.

Would you be weirded out if I said it's from receiving power from God?

Not weirded out, no. But what power did you get that it gave you a horn?

Well, I used to have two. [he lifts up his bangs to reveal the scar underneath, where there presumably used to be another horn.] You can think of it as... the god who shared their power with us has horns, so we become one step closer to their form? I don't really know all the metaphysics behind it or whatever.

[It does make sense, but 'god with horns' isn't exactly a god, according to religions from his world. So he has to ask:]

Which god? And were there any other changes, besides powers and horns?

[he shrugs.]

Can't go out in sunlight. But horns, fangs— [he briefly pulls at the side of his mouth to reveal more of his teeth—where a normal would have molars, he has more fangs.] —and powers is pretty much the package deal.

Seeing those fangs certainly does something to him.

Well, it's been so long that I don't really remember what it's like without it—though it sure sucks to not have my powers here.
